Agree. First-half was mostly shambolic, with 2 excellent goals from a capable Carlton team.
Second-half was far better. They tried to play balls behind the defenders for Wolfenden and Cieslewicz to run on to, but never got the weight right. Cieslewicz looks more like a striker than a winger; both played well. Impressed by Silvio, with Williamson probably the weakest. Don't think he was suited to the 3-5-2 we played in the second-half.
No doubt the doomsters will feed off the defeat. While there is still much to do, we have the makings of a far better team, but DS II has yet to find the best combination, due to illness and some late arrivals.
Things are looking up, despite the result.
