1. No Personal Attacks
If you do not agree with another user’s opinion please debate it rather than resort to personal attacks or threats.
2. No questionable content or links
Please ensure your posts do not include "questionable" content or links to such content. This includes (but is not limited to) pornography, race hate, hacking, threatening or obscene sites.
3. Nothing abusive or offensive
Users must refrain from posting anything that could be viewed as abusive or offensive. This includes (but is not limited to) anything that may be classed as racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted or otherwise offensive.
4. Misuse of personal messaging system
Messages sent using the PM system will be dealt with on the same basis as posts made on the messageboard.
5 Report to Moderator
The messageboard operates on a self-policing basis and if there are any postings that cause concern then use the "Report this post to a moderator option". Please only use this option when appropriate.
6 Final Word
The moderators decision is final. On occasions moderators will make decisions that they feel are for the overall good of the site. This includes choosing to close a thread if they feel it can no longer be discussed in a friendly manner and to let minor offences go with a quiet word rather than a formal warning. If a moderator is forced into making such a decision, they will not have done it lightly. Please respect their decision even if you do not agree with it. The moderators do a tough job, please do not make it any harder than it has to be.
7 Warnings and Bans
If moderators feel a member’s behaviour warrants action then any of the following may apply:
A) A quiet word via Personal Messenger pointing out the problem. An offending post might be edited or deleted at the same time.
B) On occasions a moderator may feel it appropriate to remark on a post publicly. This will be to allow members to know our view on a subject, it is NOT a public rebuke of the individual member.
C) Yellow Cards (Warning)
D) Red Cards (Ban)
