Yes, Celtic have won the league but you have to ask the question; is that enough?

It's all well and good battering these sides in the league but it's clear these teams don't get themselves up for league game as much as they do for one-off cup games. Celtic lose to Killie in the League Cup and 2 weeks later hammer them 6-0 at Killie but Killie aren't bothered because they have a trophy in the cabernet. Celtic under O'Neill or Rangers under Smith would probably have won the treble from that position.

Lennon to Celtic is what Dalglish is to Liverpool - almost unsackable. If I was a Celtic fan, winning the SPL would not be enough from this season. Lest we forget they only played in the UEFA Cup by default and didn't get out of their group.
Completely agree apart from the bit about the SPL not being enough. Winning the SPL was THE aim this year. Next year will be the acid test, progressing in Europe is the aim along with retaining the title.

Winning a League Championship is always an achievement but it must be concerning Celtic can batter these teams in the League but can't over one game. Perhaps more should be made of Celtic's opposition raising themselves for cup games and not the League. However such is the SPL, they play each other at least 3 times a season and you know the title's either going to Celtic or Rangers so your realistic chance of silverware is in the Cups. Sounds like any other league but due to the variation of standards, I think the SPL is a bit different.

Anyways, whenever Celtic lose, it's the refs fault. Never Lennon's team.

A brilliant result for the game up there. With Rangers on their knees and a pretty shabby Celtic team walking to the title almost by default surely if the other teams are going to challenge them again they've got to get going now. A final like this could be the catalyst for that, and if it doesn't turn out to be one then maybe there won't ever be one. Let's hope so because they've produced some great players up there and it's a shame to see a proper football country not punching its weight.

Re: Lennon - I really can't stand him. He's an unnaturally angry and paranoid little pillock and a crazy situation up there is made even crazier by him being an Old Firm manager. To talk of Celtic being victims when they're one half of a dominant force is laughable...especially as yesterday's crucial incident was a penalty all day long, although it only seems to be me saying it. A Hearts player played the ball back into the mixer and it hit an outstretched arm. If it was up the other end Lennon would have been screaming for it - not that he ever stops screaming.

Followed Hearts for 30 years, only seen them play three times. Travelled to Liege to watch them in Europe on my own and met up with a great bunch of supporters who took me under their wing for the day. Vague recollections of standing on a table in a bar singing songs about Ch3ster.

Utter scum? Not in my experience.

Don't know where to start with this really.

1. Turning over a 15 point deficit is not 'walking by default' to the title. Celtic would have won it anyway.
2. I think I'd be a bit paranoid if people were sending bombs to my house.
3. That was never in a million years a penalty, you're a joker if you think it was. Outstretched arm? Errrr watch it again.

I usually find that people who have to spout out sad little catchphrases instead of actually debating don't have much to say for themselves, or aren't very interesting people.
