I can only agree with Andy.
We were going no-where fast towards the end of my guidance of the team, but Andy has managed to bring some quality players in, from his contacts within the sunday league (something I've been out of touch with, for many years)
Players like Chalkie / Lamby / Ballack / Liam / Killy (?) etc, are only good for the team.
The quality of the passing yesterday, was testiment to that.
I also enjoyed getting on the pitch again

. (Thanks for that Andy) Its been a long time since my last adventure though, and it showed a bit in my passing, if I'm honest, but my hoofing of the ball, was as mighty as ever & I managed to dump a couple of rhyl lads on their arse's too, so its all good!
As for the game, just pure quality.
I can't recall many details from the first half, as i was playing myself, but what i watched in the second half was brilliant.
It was a pleasure to watch at times, and like andy says - the new lads are bringing the best out of the regulars.
Worthy of a mention, was the new & improved Paolo..... he (by his own admission) was a little ring-rusty last season, and struggled to get fit, but yesterday, he was really sharp, and deservedly bagged a brace for himself.
The way Ballack / Chalkie link up together, really taking the pressue of the others, and again, as Andy has said..... IF these lads (inc Liam etc) could stick together for a full season, we'd be giving the likes of Everton a real run for thier money next time around!
I' also, should mention, that our debutant goal-keeper (some chubby ginger chap

) made a great double save, from penalty against us. The first save was good, but quick reactions got him up quickly for the rebound..... well played that man!)
He's a 'more than able' deputy for Steve, and has played long enough to have the experience too.
Also, bear in mind, we were also missing the following players -
Deadeyedixie / Simon Mason / Luke Walker / Buxton / Perkins / Steve Lloyd / James Jones..... it really does look good for the forseable future.
