"Wales v Scotland - Nationwide Friendly International"

The FAW is pleased to announce that Wales will play Scotland in a Nationwide International Friendly match on Saturday 14th November 2009. The match will be played at the Cardiff City Stadium, with kick off at 3pm.

This comes from the news page on the Welsh FA Website. I note that the game clashes with our home game vs Hayes & Yeading United. I wonder, will be be supplying a number of players to the Wales squad for this international & would that mean we once again have to postpone our league match ? Should we indeed simply play on anyway ? If we were called off, the upside is at least we can go to the Wales game in Cardiff without missing a Wrexham one ! But the downside is, another 'game in hand' to deal with, and i notice that quite a few of the Tuesdays after 14th Nov are already busy - i predict the Hayes game being shunted to Tues 8th Dec.

Still, i'm getting ahead of myself !

If you were Dean Saunders would you want a very winnable home game to be postponed when the next 4 league games are away and 3 of these are against decent sides.

Noticed from another press release that FAW are now doing a 'grounds tour' thingy with Wales games, like England did when that craphole (Yemberley or something?) was being rebuit, taking it away from the Millenium Stadium.

Don't know if we can actually host international matches anymore, or if there's anywhere in North Wales that can? Shame if not.

I think we can host friendlies at present; however I believe full internationals require a seated capacity if 15000.

Nope - club says Hayes kicks off at 3pm as per fixture list
