I'd tend to agree. Second time round I can't see people donating as much as the first time round. I see it as more of a novelty fundraiser.

PAGL...how can we ex-pats contribute? I am on a fixed pension but would like to help in some way. Would Standing Order be the best? Not sure if it can be done from a Canadian Bank, but I will look into it. Any other thoughts? Thanks. Rae

I think it is possible canadian dragon to set up a standing order. You need the international bank number of the bank your paying the order to.other than that the usual stuff is required. Amount, sort code, account number.

Just check if any fees are involved, also watch out for the exchange rate as that will effect the amount given too.

This is a 2 way street. It is essential that this initiative is seen to be responded to in kind by the board. We are all on the same side and want league football so dont let this gesture get watered down or there will be some seriously annoyed fans out there. At least this seems to carry "official" approval and I will donate.
If seen to work I will contribute more.

Well this is fine, but is the club doing it best when it comes to providing a decent service at the ground. Judging by comments made on here, no they are not.
Why are the fans bailing out a commercial organisation???

Fans asked for this to be set up and the club delivered. Pointless using it as a stick to beat them with.
