Posted via mobile theme
What the????? I have absolutely no idea why you would feel the need to post this. Is there any tenuous relevance in that statement whatsoever? Still, another post to help you on your way to becoming a cyber club legend I guess! |

Posted via mobile theme
Frank was a useful player but was absolutely nowhere Joey, in fact a universe away. Joey might not have been the most skilful player but his attitude/commitment had a tremendous impact on games at all levels in which he played. A genuine hero for us and incredible Club man but his playing contributions contributed to winning the ultimate, The European Cup. |

It may have only happened once but I recall a home game v Luton Town at the end of a season back in the late 70's - strange game if I remember rightly as we were trying to clear a backlog of previously postponed fixtures - think it was midweek with an afternoon kick off.
Heart of the defence both Joey and Frankie Jones. |
