Re: Next Season's Away Days
Well it's Ebbsfleet and Halifax as away games next year. Both OK, but we've been robbed of two new grounds as they beat Chorley and Chelmsford respectively. Halifax has some good drinking pubs, but is a bit of a bugger to get to on the train. No far from the ground, but the trains back to civilization are hourly. Ebbsfleet is the same but further away, some nice local pubs, but the area is dying. The pub we went to last time was friendly, but everyone is moving away from the area so it's probably an Indian restaurant next time we go

Not a great side, and were prob a bit lucky to get to ET, tho when they did they were the better side. Can't argue with an 8k crowd (or the nearby fantastic pub, the Three Pigeons). Chorley took nigh on 2000, chwarae teg, (though in fairness, I did see a lot of PNE shirts.....) Posted via mobile theme |

Re: Next Season's Away Days
Final Line Up
Barrow Gateshead Macclesfield Aldershot Dagenham Bromley Sutton U Maidstone Eastleigh Boreham Wood Solihull Leyton Orient Dover AFC Fylde Woking Torquay Guiseley Chester Maidenhead Hartlepool Tranmere Halifax Ebbsfleet Lost Lincoln, FGR & York in terms of teams expected to be top half this season Gained Hartlepool & Fylde and Ebbsfleet, likely to be top half next season. Despite that, to the naked eye that list looks better than this time last year, for some reason. Strange. Last edited by Oswestrian; 18th May 2017 at 20.21:39.. |

Re: Next Season's Away Days
Solihull are the problem- if you look at the list there are 10 northern teams, 13 southern teams and Solihull out on a limb in midlands with no one nearby.
On the basis that first three games listed are pretty much certs, if we played Solihull, then one of Tranmere, Macc or Chester would have to play a southern side. Or it could be us playing someone like Maidenhead or Boreham Wood if NWP won't let us play Chester or Tranmere. |
