Agree with this. He gave 100% for the club when he played. Didn't choose to leave and needs to paybthe bills.

Bit of a clear out at the Jesters as well!
Heading the list of departees is midfielder Elliott Durrell, Johnny Hunt and Blaine Hudson while Kane Richards, Ross Killock and Kieran Evans have also left the club after not being offered new deals.

In addition, Sam Hughes and James Alabi, both offered new deals, look set for pastures new after telling the club they will be exploring their options this summer.

Would we be interested in Hughes or Alabi?

Christ what a predicament for the lad!
Ideally he'd sign for them, wait until his first home game is nearing a goalless draw then leather the ball into his own net and give the middle finger to Preparation H Block.
I'll start the fund for this with £100 if we can get the word to him.

Rumours are we are interested in Alabi.

I'd expect both to find League clubs tbh. Hughes will definitely be heading up the leagues.

According to Chester fans he'll be the next big thing, they're hoping for 100k plus as that's why they made him captain to try get more compensation. Hughes that is.

So you would have kept the majority of this seasons squad?

You could make the argument that a small tinker last pre-season would have been better but this seasons squad is the worst Wrexham team in its history.

£100k is a bit of a stretch for a development fee he has only been there this season.

Wherever Robbie goes I wish him all the luck in the world. He's carried a serious injury for a while which has hampered him. I hope the PFA pays for his op and after a lay off he'll be back as good as ever. Good luck Robbie lad, and don't forget, as I always remind you, you;re a Jacko!!
