This could have been the best announcement for a long time, shame Steve has probably ruined it if true.

This is positive news, Darlington is a very good coach and could be the key to getting out of this division.

The league is full of mediocre teams with mediocre players. The difference (as Lincoln have shown this year) is to get the team well drilled and to extract the most from players with limited ability. Barring a few of Lincolns players (Arnold for example) they weren't a team brimming full of talent, but they had a game plan and they stuck to it.

Hopefully we can now be confident that the players will have a good level of training and Dean can extract all he can from them.
