Great news for them to be involved with the club. Huge international company, the sort we should be getting more involved with. (e.g. Our links with DTCC, absolutely massive company, should be courted further to see if there could be mutual benefit/sponsorship)

First I heard of the new name for our main stand, was on the season ticket matrix. So who are bkoncepts ?, never heard the name before, and what brought about the link to our football club. It will still be The Yale stand for me, but if it brings in sponsorship money, they can call it what they want.

They have a shop about 150 meters/yards from the Racecourse ;)

Not heard yet but there was a little rumour about 9 Acre being called "The Jumpers for goalposts" Arena.

DK was quick to scotch the suggestion, he claims they have 2 sets full sized goals and the club are ordering more, but I think the thought of it tickled him.

As you will see if you read the item in the link below, the company has been sponsoring the minutes of time added-on in our home games since February 2017, and more besides.

Now that the sponsorship is being extended to naming the stand, shouldn't we make sure that the company has a real benefit for doing this? If they aren't recognised by fans for their INVESTMENT in the club, then asking BKoncepts to make further INVESTMENT in Wrexham AFC is unlikely to work.

Good stuff, because we are 'fans owned' we can reach out to more businesses who are keen to be seen supporting the local community. If the club produce a leaflet and email it to members of what sponsorship/commercial deals are on offer, we could all be encouraged to ask the gaffer, getting an in for Geoff Scott. Even the public services will chip in if they can get their message out there. Cheshire Fire did a bit of work with Chester FC and as N Wales has only 1 proffessional club there must be more scope.

Not sure sponsoring extra time was that good vfm last season - most of us were on their way to their car five mins before the end..

Didn't they used to be called BK Kitchens? Seem to remember them sponsoring the added time for a few years.

'The 4th official has indicated there'll be a minimum of 4 minutes added time, sponsored by BK kitchens, number 1 for kitchens.'


Why haven't we made a big deal about this? If we make a fuss of them in the press, it'll encourage other businesses to sponsor the other 2 stands.

Just seems strange that they've appeared on the season ticket brochure before being announced. Oh well.

They are a very generous company with a place on the industrial estate as well as the showroom opposite the railway station. They are providing a whole kitchen free of charge for a school I am raising money for. God bless 'em and here comes a little plug if I'm allowed.

^This^ - and give them a shout during matches too. We need all the sponsors we can find to be on-side.
