Re: Think the club needs a PR/Communication expert

Just because things have been agreed doesn't mean the club should share the news straight away.

If the club did hire a PR/communications expert the first thing they would do is time the announcements for when they would have the most positive impact.

Christ why do people whinge about rumours so much? It's happened for years. But through the power of the internet they are just easier to vocalise. Maybe too much info leaks but it's not as bad as some make out...

It's interesting that over the past few years, intended transfer targets have been leaked and there's been issues regarding this by some re being unprofessional on this front and the Club needed to tighten things up.
Keates seems to have his targets kept close to his chest so far in all fairness and there's been nothing apart from the Darlington rumour ( rumours with substance I hasten to add).

Lot of people quite excited about Darlington,.,. But most people are more interested in players being signed. That's what sells STs..
If he is coming here.announcing it now would have no effect on ST sales...

Darlington will be part time. He will be continuing with Wales and his duties at Wrexham will be to provide an infrastructure from academy level upwards and not ad keates right hand man

Who cares if it promotes some positivity and puts bums on seats. We all know Wxm has been a sleepy hollow for too long. More important than that we need to develop some good footballers that has been missing for a decade or more.
