I actually do like what he's doing but that's based on how ruthless he's been, and to be honest most needed to go anyway. Lets hope he's as handy bringing players in as he is shipping them out!

This......if he struggles on getting quality in the building, we may have a different opinion of him, obviously.

Hopefully he can get the quality we need, that will come down to budget though.

I'm as big a proponent of using youth to fill in gaps when possible as can be found, and if Keates and his assistant, the former of youth development apparently consider a player not good enough to step up to senior level then that's fine by me. At least they gave a couple a shot this season in the mean time.

it does make you wonder about the quality of our youth team if only two are considered capable of making the grade every year though. I'd hope for more personally to lessen the budget needed to fill our bench.

This league is a tough mans league and you would have to be special at 18/19 or so to get into a top 5 team. It is for the best that they move onto other so they can develop through playing lots of games. If they were here they would hardly play anyway so it's for the best.
