It's not a melt down as you put it, but emergency signing is laughable Keates offered him a contract to stay, the player wanted to stay also, so if only an emergency signing why would Keates want him to say??? In Keates we trust is like stable strong stable strong just soundbites. I await to see if he can attract the quality needed on the cheap, I suspect a lot of players want more money than he is getting paid as manager. Posted via mobile theme |

![]() He wasn't going to say the contract offer wasn't good enough is he? The manager stated by offering a contract that he wanted him to stay don't matter what we think of him... Keates the soundbite "in who we trust"" wanted him, the player stated before the offer he loved it here and wanted to stay... So it has to be the contract offered not good enough to put pen to paper. Possibly he has been offered more elsewhere we will see. But every season we can't seem to attract the quality needed to this club. That's concerning unless were happy to stay non league.
