If Penn was in his 20's and local then we could be dissapointed the club couldn't satisfy his personal reasons but even then every player has a price.

What we know for certain is DK has a bigger budget than last season's and it would appear that he demands value for money and is trying to maximise that extra budget.

If he can identify the right players, can achieve the above and spends his budget, then the squad will either be bigger than last year or contain far more quality.

As I said yesterday. Both parties have an interest in not admitting the decision was based on finances so released a statement putting a spin on it being all about distance. Some swallowed it, some didn't
