Penn was decent but nothing more than that in my opinion. You need strength, power and pace in this league, Im not sure if Penn had any of those. I think Keates could have tempted him here if he saw him as the vital cog in midfield, he didn't so didn't offer what he wanted. By now Im confident Keates will sign better.

Lets face it the team are a mid table outfit at best and there has been a need for a complete clear out. Years of poor leadership have left the club in this position so one can only but hope that the new, be it, untried manager can recruit well and turn the good ship around.
