Didn't we have the chance to buy him not long after he came here on loan but because of the club finances we couldn't?

Not having a goalkeeper on the bench was always risky. I remember Barry Jones having to go in goal and stopping everything until the last minute ending in a draw.

My favourite manager quote of all time was after those two games:

Quiet spoken manager John Neal said "I don't know what happened."

If united leave De Gea out of the Europa Final, as seems likely, that could be the costliest error.

Maxwell was v good keeper
Best attribute was calmness which Maybi did not have
Dai Davies and Foster (short Term) good too
Dunn is a good signing calm and correct
Jalal does too much and gets injured like Bachmann

I agree that Hart's fiery character probably did for him. Do you really want your keeper teetering on the edge whilst stood in the tunnel
Hart deserved to be shipped out because he was making far too many mistakes for a club that wants to be challenging right at the top but Bravo has been no improvement whatsoever. Nativity on Pep's part to think that a goalie of that 'style' would cut it in the Premiership.
