The future of Wxm AFC in their hands

The thread about the 12 year old, has highlighted our responsibility to protect Wxm AFC'S future.

How many have considered investing in a ST for a young family member. At these prices it is difficult to not take up the option: £15 for an under 11; £45 under 18 and for a 18-21 year old it can work out at less than £8 per game.

A season of following Wxm is cheaper than 1 trip to the cinema without the popcorn.

If we can't get youngsters hooked whilst it is affordable and before girls & booze kick in, then they will either not be interested in footy or are already the most fanatical Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea & Liverpool arm chair fans.

These facts need to be plastered all over town. Get the kids pestering their parents to take them to watch a match.

I'm yet to see any advertisement of Season Tickets at Wrexham. Have I missed them?

Nearly every youngster I've seen in the ground would rather keep running up and down the steps, they are only there because their dad took them.

I did it with my son when he was young he was bored shitless, he's an adult now with no interest in football infact he hates it.

So it don't always work enforced attending 😔

I think Foxy had the right idea, why isn't Rex the dragon in eagles meadow and around town during weekends and school holidays handing out sweets and balloons etc promoting the club to kids and handing leaflets to parents showing what good value it is to bring their children to the games.

He'd need someone with him though, because Dragons can't talk.
