#WxmAFC boss Dean Keates reveals Hurst was on his radar, and the player actually contacted him.

Never doubted you gvred! [emoji102]
He sounds like a decent player, tall, good on the ball and strong. I remember he fell out with Telford fans a few seasons ago, but I'm sure Keates has scouted him and knows about his background and obviously doesn't see that as a huge problem, so I'll wait to see him play before I can judge him properly.

Versatile player and on a years contract. Hurst plus Carrington and a few other versatile players and we can completely fool the opposition as they wont have a clue who plays where - LOL.

Keates said that Hurst caught the eye when scouting at the Macclesfield v Dover game.

A game which Macclesfield won 2-1 with 2 goals from a certain Chris Holroyd...

Do you think for one minute that keates would do his very best to offload players of that calibre , only to bring in more of the same ? Your bloody well deluded .

I've always liked Holroyd. Probably not your 20 goal striker, but he'd certainly chip in with a decent amount and he works very hard. He'd be good in a 4-4-2, but probably not as good as the central part of a 4-3-3.
