I'm not bigging myself up pal!!! I am just responding to comments on this forum and defending myself. I am not friendly with any board member, trust or club. In fact I am no longer a trust member. You are bang on however in speculating that the information has come from within the club. People do big themselves up and play the big I am. But if a board member wants to blab to work mates who then tell thier mates who then tell me that's not my problem. I only told the fans about a transfer target that had signed.

But you posted that he was "signing today" didn't you? How can the club announce a signing before the signing has signed? Keates has said he's made offers to six players. Presumably someone else at the club knows who they are. Do you expect the club to announce who they are? Now? Or wait to see if any sign on the dotted line? Until they do anything can happen. Like a failed medical or an agent squeezing a better offer elsewhere at the 11th hour. And what other "issues"? Running a multi million pound business will throw up numerous " issues" probably every week. I know my business does. Doesn't mean that as a club owner I need to know about everything going on there all the time. That's why I help vote in a board. To deal with stuff as it happens and keep me informed about the really important things. Looks like there's the usual close season bollocks going on in some of these threads.

Hurst was a done deal two weeks ago. Maybe a better thread title would have been "signing announced today"I don't expect the club to announce who the targets are and I have not said this in any post.As for other issues, I do believe the board need to be more transparent.
