Re: James Hurst
Clearly has the talent but has had issues.
If he hadn't had those issues he'd be playing 2-3 divisions higher looking at his pedigree. Can Keates get him back on the right path ? |
Re: James Hurst
Bit of a lad, hes some clubs too. Nice to hear of a signing though.

Re: James Hurst
From Dover?
|
Re: James Hurst
I will wait to see him on the pitch before I am under or over whelmed!

Never heard of him

Its a start, chaps lets back the boy.

Re: James Hurst
Usual cheap options - has the talent but no desire.
These kind of signings are the reason we've been here so long. Poisonous attitudes are contagious. Posted via mobile theme |
Re: James Hurst
Bobby Shinton was crap until he came here!

Good pedigree, but career seems to have lost its way of late. Still only 25 though. |

A right back :-)
A right back :-)
Posted via mobile theme
With him, Carrington and Marx able to cover the position, presumably no Kevin Roberts? |

Posted via mobile theme
He only played 19 games last season but managed to pick up 10 yellow cards a red card. Him and Jennings should be an interesting pair. With his off the field issues as well I don't think this will end well............if there is any truth to the story of course. |

Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
With an improved budget and a proper focus on a play off push I was fully expecting us to get some solid performers in, not players with a long list of clubs with displinary problems.
Getting out of this league requires a certain mental toughness and I have doubts when names like this get thrown around. Posted via mobile theme |

Still a lot of cards though! |

Posted via mobile theme
You do that and good luck to you - I've done that for years and been let down almost every time. I don't want players that I have to 'wait and see play' before I can make a decision on them. I want to see players coming in who are proven quality who can help get Wrexham out of the league. |
Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
It's a bit harsh to make an overwhelming decision on a guys career at the Racecourse Before he has even arrived to sign! Which players have you seen that have a cast iron guarantee of success?
A right back :-)
Posted via mobile theme
I like the idea of a 6' 1" right back. We need a physical team. |

Who were you expecting ? Ronaldo, Messi, Bale? |

Posted via mobile theme
Louis Moult Not sure on this if its true. Has talent but a bag load of issues on and off the pitch. Personally if Keates is going for a smaller squad this is a risk to far especially when you look what he picked up card wise last season. |
Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Totall underwhelmed with this, very Mills-esque
|
Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Dover have to announce their retained list today, due to FA regulations.

Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Another right back - just great . Let's build a team full of right backs

The last player I can remember us signing who's lost his way from the top due to having issues is Dom Vose. He wasn't too bad now, was he? |
Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Love people already whinging about this. Hasn't even signed yet.

Hindsight is a great thing but he also had a positive work ethic. Posted via mobile theme |
Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Let's not be delusional. We are not a top flight club. We cannot shell out dosh for desirable players. We will be getting other clubs cast offs and moulding them into a team. All freebies. It can be done, and it's our only route. Please get real.

Re: James Hurst (rumoured to join?)
Another player from the area known as the black country, Keates' own kingdom! We shall see!
