Spawny? We've had 26 years without a promotion. We've gone longer than any club in the top 5 tiers without a trophy or accolade of any kind. I'd say we're the opposite of spawny! Don't let your blind hatred get in the way of things though.

I can't quite forgive some of your knuckle draggers singing going bust at us when we were collecting cash outside The Turf in 2005, I know it's just football banter but there is an element of come uppance about you being in the same league as us now

Are you saying your knuckle draggers would have behaved any differently? Ignore them, they don't represent the other 99% of us, we're just normal football fans. If you don't rise above them, are you really any different to them?

Pablosammy speaks with wise tongue - in a perfect world we would both be in a league with the likes of Chester, Crew Alex and other north west teams - no disrespect to our Wirral friends but for the sake of two fantastic well supported derby's who wouldn't really want to be in the same league - or would it be better hosting FGR and their 53 fans arriving on a solar panelled powered skateboard !

After Jim Steele and Jimmy Harvey both left us to join Tranmere under Johhny King I spent many a happy Friday night watching some fantastic football at Prenton Park and the rise of TRFC upwards through the leagues - surely something every true football fan wants to see them do.

Forget the knuckle draggers - both clubs have their fair share. I have had a few pints down the years with Tranmere friends both in the Turf and at the Prenton & Clipper - just like us, supporters of their local club, both of which by their size and history should not be rubbing shoulders with the likes of FGR , Bromley and Solihull Moors (not forgetting Halifax Town & Ebbesfleet Utd).

So good luck to Tranmere - if they don't make it then we are all losers and miss out on the revenue from two cracking derby matches with proper crowds and proper football stadiums. Under the Palio's regime they are steering their ship in the right direction - can the same be said about us ?
