I agree. Seems like the type of guy who can't handle being on the sidelines though..When he was playing he was generally decent. That probably doesn't fit the narrative though.

Would be nice to get some cash off Rangers.

Hope it's a good move for him personally but as for the Rangers/Sevco....... may 3rd place be the limits of their achievements for years to come!

Would rather Moult didn't go to Rangers. It's become a dead end club with no money and, for him and for us, I hope he goes to a Championship club for more than the 500k or whatever people are touting.

Can only hope we see a bidding war involving clubs like Sunderland who will have a few quid in their pocket and are desperate for somebody to score 10-15 goals a season.

Yeah I agree. To be fair, he's a completely different player to Moult and when he was on form he was a good asset for us and linked up with Vose very well. Then he got injured, lost focus and showed us the reason he's been a wasted talent for both club and country.

Is there some sort of alki appreciation club on red passion? Grey needed 10 chances to score 1 and then was also caught drink driving on the way to training. He could have killed any innocent person that morning yet people talk about his spell with us with fondness.

Some people just can't tolerate nuanced opinion, Exhibit A. People aren't talking about his spell with fondness and nobody is brushing over the fact that he's clearly a prize pillock. But based on play alone he did an ok job in what was essentially a lone role (although agreed he could miss a sitter) until he was just hooked, as Mills did with four or five players at once. No Moult, but no Ogleby either.

Captain hindsight here

Gray started off well and could have become a decent enough striker here before his extra curricular activities, whereas Moult made the most of his chance and deserves all the success that he gets, a good attitude and hard work can make a lot of difference!
spot on. I liked gray fit, strong .run allday, good movement. shame didn't have the desire

It was mentioned yesterday that Sunderland lost 35 million this season,so with parachute payments or not they have not got money to burn!
