My heartfelt condolences to those affected by last night's incident. To attack young children out enjoying themselves is shameful. Terrorists strike at the heart of every community - they want to cause the maximum damage and the maximum exposure - we cannot allow them to win. We need to keep everyone safe.

Please be extremely vigilant out there. If you suspect something is not right or suspicious, please report it. You will be doing yourselves, your friends and your families a great service.

We have to stand together.

Its fliping rotten the whole thing...had to explain it to my 5 year old this morning and i struggled to answer her questions. I know when i get home once she has had the day to think about it she will probably have more questions.

The attack is devastating, but equally so is the culture of fear and hatred that is growing by the day.

I know what you mean. My 6 year old daughter saw a riot copy armed with a rifle and said is that the bad man daddy?.....very difficult to explain. You have to worry for their future..where is it going to end?

Sadly this type of attack is having the effect that the terrorists require.
Only this morning I heard a comment from a bloke who said we should all have a gun and shoot a Muslim. Unfortunately this ignorant reaction is likely to increase.
The terrorist are trying to incite a reaction against the Islamic community to further their aims and start a type of civil war.
We cannot and must not let terror win.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the victims of this cowardly act.

If this scumbag has openly shown support for IS or islamic extremists, or if he's come back from Syria, serious questions need to be asked. There has to be an exception to free speech when it's an organisation who want to take our freedom away.
