Am pleased this post is staying on the football forum. Its where it should be at times like this. Centre front, with everyone standing strong against these cowards with evil intentions of hatred.

It helps us to register what has actually happened right in the heart of the Manchester community just up the road from Wrexham along the M56.

Most of all its a chance to express the deepest sympathies to all those innocent families caught up in this horror, who have lost their loved ones. Its simply too upsetting and devastating to comprehend and will have brought a tear of sympathy to many a UK citizens eye this morning.

Only just realised what this thread is all about.
Words cannot describe how I feel today.Everyone of us on here will have or knows somebody who has been to the MEN at some point.really brings home the fact it could have been anyone of us caught up in last night's events.
Praires and thoughts for all concerned.
Be nice to think we could all put our petty disagreements aside just for today out of respect.

Only this morning I heard a comment from a bloke who said we should all have a gun and shoot a Muslim. Unfortunately this ignorant reaction is likely to increase.
The terrorist are trying to incite a reaction against the Islamic community to further their aims and start a type of civil war.
We cannot and must not let terror win.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the victims of this cowardly act.
I can't second this enough. It's such a saddening event and I've felt deflated all day about it. But seeing people turn on the Muslim community makes it even sadder, because it's the reaction they want. Hopefully, the majority of this country can see it is a small number of extremists.

At one point today it was mentioned on Social Media (so not sure how true) that one of the hospitals had run out of O Negative blood. People are queuing up in Manchester to give blood, but this is one way we could all help as incidents like last night draw on the reserves held so if you can please donate a pint even if it is a whole arm full

Its quite simple if we turn to hatred ISIS win. Its what they want. They want us to turn on each other and to vilify all Muslims.

I know its hard but if we stop doing the things we always do that is another victory for the sad, deluded idiots who carry out attacks like this.

Gary Bennett tweeted that one of the victims was Mark Taylor's wife in this terrible tragedy. Thoughts are with all.
For those who don't know Mark Taylor was a winger/right midfielder who played in the 90s and later become club physio

Just saw about Mark Taylor's wife on the BBC website. Thoughts are with him and the families of all the victims.
