Holroyd was Macclesfield Town's top goal scorer last season on 14.

Been at Macc last 5 seasons - knows this league - good solid signing.

Jennings is worth a contract. Holroyd is an awful signing. A forward with a nearly 1 in 7 goal scoring ratio. FFS bet he cant believe his luck

as counter intuitive as it sounds, goalscoring records for strikers isn't everything.

the guy you mention, Danny Wright, scored something like 8 goals in his first season with us and he had an amazing season.

He may do better with different players around him, give him a chance.

Delighted with both of these signings. Can see Holroyd being a big success here! Listening to his interview he says he wants to continue playing up front so I think we might be going with two up front mainly this season. I think this is the most impressive summer recruitment I've seen at this club for a while.

Holroyd is a good player and technically good for this league. Better than any strikers we have had here in the last couple of years.

Exactly. So long as Holroyd's been signed as a wide striker then I have no issues with it at all. From what I've seen of him he's got plenty of ability.

Chris Holroyd and James Jennings will do a job for us,I did think we we would have gone for a younger more forward thinking left back and not sure about the two year deal either,
Holroyd has always shown good quality when I've send him play, A big welcome to both.

holroyd out right, jake cassidy out left, the yet to be determined holy grail star striker down the middle. that would look pretty good to me.
