Just signed for Chester, but had a friend who knows Chester Chairman and Manager and is extremely well connected down the road, who has just said that Hannah was due to sign here, paperwork all done, Chester called his agent, his agent was at the Racecourse, picked up the paperwork and went and signed there instead!

2 year deal as opposed to a 1 year probably.

He's 31 so correct decision by us.

I don't think you can write off giving anybody a 2 year deal because they are 31, that would be tarring a hell of a lot of players with the same brush.
There are a good few players out there aged 31 and over who would be worth a 2 year deal.
Ross Hannah is not one of them however.

Id of given him 2 to be honest. Gets goals at this level 33 is not that old.

Agree with the age bit - no problem whatsoever with players playing into their mid thirties - it's no age especially at this level if they're making their way down the pyramid having played at a decent level.

He's only recently turned 31. If he keeps himself fit, he has plenty of years left.
