To be fair occasionally he would put a performance in but it was rare.

I fear these memories will bring back the bed wetting and nervous twitch that watching him brought about.

Did he? I seem to remember Ugarte scored 5 and Mark Jones scored one. I'll have to watch the highlights again but it doesn't change the fact he missed a sitter.

And then we took him back again! Denis was a great manager for us but that was one sign that he'd run out of idea she after firefighting for so long.

I'm saying that Bowden was better with Russell in the team than he was without Russell. I am also saying that this is a good example of getting more out of players with the right players around them. What did you think of Jon Bowden?

John Bowden was the only player I have seen play with a limp.
He was signed in summer 87 the same summer has Russell.
When Russell first arrived he played in midfield.Those were really desperate times with crowds over 1800 a luxury.
