That's not taking into consideration that they probably offered him more, with promise to be their main striker and a two year deal. They've tried harder to sign a player that we see as backup.

Hopefully it's only a one year deal, I'd be very wary about him on a 2 year. He is 33 now and hardly of the natural type physique that will keep him going till he is 35

I'm assuming that Lincoln would allow him to leave due to him wanting to move closer to stoke , and I can't see him being used much in the FL. So a 1yr deal shouldn't cost us too much.

Wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if we have offered a two year deal.
Rhead is exactly the type of striker we need when games get dirty.
We also need a fast pace striker too, to feed off his lay offs.
