Transfer Rumour Thread III
 

Tranmere's Stockton looks likely to move to a Scottish club - his departure might create a regular starting place for Cook which may persuade him to remain at Prenton Park.

Cook has previously been linked with Scunthorpe United - he's half way through a 2 year contract so can't see him leaving without a significant fee being involved especially as he was their top scorer.

I think he's hedging his bets as it's clear Stockton is the preferred player, bit it also seems to me that Cook is angling for a move to L2. If that doesn't materialise or Stockton goes I fully expect him to stay at Tranmere.

I just can't see him coming here.
