Turnbull isn't the played he once was; I'd have been disappointed if we'd signed him.

They're also dishing out 2 year contracts I see to attract these players so their budget will be already depleted. Much more likely to be in a relegation fight than a promotion one

I didn't see him much last season but he was class in the centre for Macclesfield. Breaks up play, has a great range of passing and has a good shot on him. Not sure about depleted because I think they're selling a player to Everton, so their budget will be inflated. They won't be anywhere near the relegation this year in my opinion.

I take it Macclesfield are going to struggle this season, that's the 3rd player going to the dive.

Reduced terms I'd say

Barrow fans don't seem to rate him much.

People worry about us, they've got one player under contract and all those offered seen to be going elsewhere.

Really,
They seem to have recruited well and taken some players from other top 10 sides.

Not looking as strong as us though

Yes they are hoping for a six figure fee for Hughes, but most seem to think it's Leicester

Both Dover and Macclesfield seem to be 'collapsing' in terms of their players jumping ship even if they are offered new contracts - massive turnover in players plus Gateshead don't seem to be far behind.

Dover have lost Miller and Modeste amongst others (Hurst) and wont be the same attacking threat.

Chester have shipped a few out and brought a few in - I fully expect Alabi to move on but where will be go ?

If you're talking about Turnbull, he's come from Barrow, not Macclesfield.
Askey has a massive job this time though, but I fully expect him to build a squad that will at least be safe mid table, it's what he does.
