2 poor signings imo for Hartlepool! Signed Luke George from Jester who even they didn't want! Says it all.

Chester have shipped a few out and brought a few in - I fully expect Alabi to move on but where will be go ?
Miller and Modeste will be massive losses to Dover. They are one of the most well drilled and organised teams I have seen in this league.

Default National League Updates 2017/2018 Season

It's certainly looking a weaker league so far, albeit no one has assembled their final squad yet. But the best teams in the league on paper at the moment, look like Dagenham, Tranmere and us for once.
I don't expect any of the promoted teams to challenge for the title and only Fylde will flirt with the play offs, although I expect them to finish just above mid table. Can't see them being a force straight away this season.
I can't see Hartlepool having a bounce back season, especially with the inexperience of Harrison.
You'd expect Aldershot to give the play offs another go seeing as they've kept their side together pretty much.
If York get a reprieve, then I'd expect Mills to spend their big budget to put them up there around the play offs, like he's done before.
Then you've got teams like Gateshead, Chester, Eastleigh, Barrow and Sutton who could slip into the play offs.
But you've got to expect that teams like Dover and Macclesfield won't do as well this season, looking at the way both teams have been ripped apart.
If we can get that striker/s who can score 20 + goals (or 2 that reach over double figures), then we have a real chance this coming season.

Didn't Mills spend next seasons budget trying to keep them up last season ? Chester to get in playoffs this season ? cant see it a few swallows don't make a summer and they have a clown for a manager .

Jack Munns signed for Hartlepool from Cheltenham, 18 games last season in League 2 but more or less ever present in their promotion season.

I have no idea about that. He spent a lot I know that. I just expect them to do well if they get a reprieve, because even though he took them down, I think his Win/Draw/Loss ratio was still pretty good, he just lost key games (Against Woking and us)
Well, it's the same manager who got them flying the first half of last season and they've made some solid signings so far.
