I think its a bit misleading at the moment as there will be a few ex-league players looking for contracts come July and I expect the league to be stronger than last season.

Does anyone stand out - no not really so I expect it to be a lot closer at the top this time.

Usual suspects will be Dagenham, Tranmere, Aldershot and probably Barrow.
There are a host of teams just below them that could make a challenge including us and our not so noisy neighbours.

Not all Deans signings will work out but I do expect us to be there or thereabouts and the quality of the team will be far better than last year.

Hartlepool seem to be building an OK side and I would expect them to be around the play offs. They've signed the Chester captain, George, who seemed OK, Cassidy could work and the lad from Cheltenham knows the league.
The only issue is how well Harrison settles into the league and ultimately copes without Darlington!

Munns is a really.good player. I think he spent most of last season out injured though?

Luke George doesn't seem very highly rated at Chester and again has had injury issues.

Cassidy is decent enough but if they end up losing Amond it's a downgrade.

They also have probably the best striker in the league in Amond too.

Their signings have been decent but no where near as impressive as some teams who have come down here. Many Pools fans reckon their chairman will still spend small despite the parachute payments, and that appears to be correct with the calibre of players they're bringing in.

Boreham Wood have signed Keiron Murtagh and Dean Wells. 2 good signings. Disappointed about Murtagh but maybe he wanted to stay part time.

Hartlepool also sign Scott Loach from Notts County who was on loan at York.
