They needed to replace outgoing danny lloyd so good luck to him I say

His name has been touted on here in the past bit regulars who saw him said he isnt good enough

I wonder what the chances are of Keates using his contacts at Peterborough to get Lloyd here on loan, if things don't go to plan there?

That's basically a sideways move isn't it? Not really sure Stockport signing a striker from the Welsh Premier can be seen as a "punt". Some of the teams are probably better than Stockport.

It's the same debate about whether TNS would do well in our league or above. It's impossible to answer. They're technically brilliant players but I'm not sure they could handle the tough side. But we'll probably never know.

they did reasonably well in the Scottish Challenge Cup and were eventually knocked out by St Mirren in the semi finals, who have scottish premier experience as recently as 2015

Scottish championship level has been considered at a similar level to non league

Yes that's true. I didn't know how good the teams they knocked out were though.

You mean right next to West Ham ? There is some cross over if West Ham are away, but There are a lot of hammers fans out that way
