Or me and I suspect well over 50% of our fans dont do any social media either . Basic good marketing is having a 1st class well maintained website nothing else is acceptable. all this crap about a new one being sorted some time ago is not acceptable it needs doing now please !

Good marketing is all about getting getting to the customer base. Social media may we'll be flourishing with our younger members, but not everyone. It reminded me of CB radio. Nice idea, spoilt by kids! If it wasn't for Red Passion, I would not have known about the early bird deal, as I don't read the Leader or Daily Post.

I was naive in thinking things like that would be announced on more than just twitter.

Its my fault that I don't check every media platform the club use daily tending to rely on the WST email newsletter and mainly RP for the latest news.

We have made the best of what is a incredibly difficult situation with the website.

To answer the questions about:

Player profiles: We have no control over them! We supply the bio text and picture, and that's it! All of the other information is fed in by the Press Association. EFL Digital control the profiles existence on the page. Even if I badger them - they rarely remove them in good time. I can't remove it or put a new one on - we have to wait. It's stupid and annoying. As we have a new website with a new provider launching next month, I have left it rather than ask them over and over to sort it out.

It's not up to date or a joke: I disagree. We have put many, many hours of work in to the website over the past two years. I believe there has been a vast improvement in terms of actual content. I would suggest that there are one or two pages with some flat content, but there are too many pages on the site in general. Most of this is out of our control. The lay out is terrible yes, the look and feel is terrible yes, the EFL Digital fed information is flat yes, but we are constantly adding new content/articles on to the website and working hard to do so. Looking at the stats supplied by the EFL, we supply more updates and articles to our website than pretty much anyone in the EFL Digital network (over 90 clubs - many with full time paid media staff).

About the new website: We are launching a brand new website in July. We looked for a new supplier as EFL Digital don't want to deal with conference clubs unless we pay handsomely for it. It has been mentioned on the existing club website on many occasions (not just twiter) and I appreciate some may have missed it. The new website won't be perfect on launch either - but we will be working really hard on making it up to the standard I would want it to be as a fellow Wrexham fan. The look and feel of the new site is much more pleasant and I hope everyone enjoys it.
