From what I remember, another party had bought the land early last year, and McDonalds were trying to buy or lease the 2nd of two plots from the buyer.

Firstly great that Bulls News has asked for some support - thanks. True fans.

Secondly then I don't see why a drive through should prevent a stand ever being built as surely access to this land has be of prime importance and WCBC should not allow any such planning to take place that then prevents access. Surely the whole thing is totally illogical.

I spoke to McDonalds around 18months ago pagl. At that time, they were only interested in the 2nd of two plots; the upper end, at the junction between Crispin Lane and Mold Road, although, of course, things may have changed since then.

This whole episode has been the biggest shambles of false promises known to man or to our local town planning department. "If" the WCBC officers actually believed the promises and intentions of the applicant at the time, then they should now do their very best to ensure any broken promises are honoured.

We all know who profiteered and who lost out in any profit and loss book sheet. Why those who profiteered felt entitled to do so, by taking away significant assets belonging to Wrexham AFC, can only be reasoned as… them preferring the trappings of personal wealth invested away from Wrexham, to any community spirit, or indeed the future welfare of the football club that they said they had at heart.

There is some irony in an article with pedigree bulls and McDonalds.

Fellow Hereford fans who care about other football clubs and who help out, have great integrity. Whereas the other lot with the arched M are another group of eager land grabbers who wish to maximise their global profits, while they continue to add more greenhouse gas emissions to the planet through the sheer volume of animal products they trade in.

The WST should start a local 100% welsh burger chain with supply from local welsh farmers. They would clean up down at the Cae Ras.

Hopefully the important petition DJ raised to WAG will help beef up this issue and get the football club the revenue it rightly deserved and still deserves before the WCBC let it down.

The more people who sign it the greater impact it will have.
