Agreed. I was also annoyed that he didn't appear to have been line managed effectively.

In hindsight it looks blatant that he was half arsing it, but if the board got involved and he seen his arse and left they would come in for stick for getting involved in football matters that should be down to the manager.

I think you are remembering Danny Rowe, who we sold to Ipswich in January. However, I noticed the last couple of seasons Mackreth had his best games for Macc at the Racecourse against you guys. I think your wide pitch will really suit him. Get ready to become incredibly frustrated by him though!

Keep your grubby mits of Danny Whit please, we have just the 1 player signed up for next season and could do without any more departures!!

And with that in mind, any chance your scouts could maybe go somewhere else but the Moss Rose next season?!!!
