I think the only thing the striker identity will point to is if we are playoff contenders or not.

We don't yet have a creative midfielder or enough forwards at this point.

I expect DK to be on the case and signings to come in over the next few weeks.
As usual with any betting odds they will shorten based on new info so I would take the 14s now.

Will be a tough ask to win the league unless we can pull a 30 goal striker from the hat. However me must be looking at a play-off place the way things are shaping up.

Do you reckon that's decent odds? I usually do a pre-season bet on each Division (I got 3 of the 5 last season) and got a bit of a profit.

Don't do it. We are building a small squad with some quality, especially at the back, which will have a decent shot at an enlarged play off picture. At the end of the day other clubs, Tranmere especially, will have that little bit more quality to be consistent and compete for the top spot.
