'On or around July 5' is the official word from the National League.

Clarification that play off places are being extended to 7th place and we as a club voted for.

Hopefully, a home fixture to kick off and a bumper gate like last year. Although we had the hype of taking back the ground and it was on the back of the Euros, with many Wales shirts amongst the crowd.

From a Hartlepool point of view it would be very interesting if we had them at home in opening fixture , as we were both each others first fixture in the inaugural Div 3 north in 1921, and this will be their first season in non-league.
Obviously from our point of view whenever we play them we would hope to replicate the 10-1 score from the early 60's, though personally would be happy with 6-0 score from (was it) 67/68 or 68/89 (I was there).
