Notice has been given regarding the AGM for the WST. This is an opportunity for members to get involved. The notice states that there at 7 vacancies on the trust board.
Does anyone know who are stepping down and not seeking re election -or- are likely to be up for re election?

This of course is the governing body and not the Football Club Board.

Richard Ulrich's term is up, but he is going to stand again.

He'll be getting my vote (should we have enough candidates to require an election!

It would be helpful if someone could tell us which WST Board members are standing down. Read somewhere that 3 Club Board members are up for "re-election " even though this is somewhat misleading as we ordinary "Club owners" have no say in the matter!

With 7 posts being available it gives all those who feel the Trust are not doing a decent job to stand for election and put their ideas into practice. There may even be an investor out there who is willing to stand for election.

I understand that the club board members are selected by the WST board, who in turn have been elected by the overall membership. That being the case it is so important that members take this election seriously. It will be interesting to see the turnout.

A few years ago membership of the WST board was time limited but that has since been scrapped.

I feel that there it is good to have a steady turnover of members on both the WST management board and club board. Such a system provided the club with a sensible mix of new faces / shared experiences and stability. What do others think?
