With due respect how do you get their addresses to send letters?

Kids have used 9 acre before it was ours and have never been told off, totally agree that some signs need to be added to tell them otherwise.

To repeat the area in question is securely fenced with locked gates so anyone on the grass is trespassing ...ends.

Signage may require planning consent, though I would hope this was discussed when agreeing to rent the field.

These kids are obviously interested in football otherwise they wouldn't be playing there. Tap into that interest positively: invite them to community games at set times, with some kind of free coaching to them, available through the club (from our younger players maybe.) Article in the papers, Post and Leader, to reinforce the offer.

Help them become Wrexham supporters and not armchair Manure (etc.,) fans...

If you check the planning history over the past decade you will find that many efforts were made to try and get planning changed on the nine acre but the local people and councillors won the battle to save it as public open space. Although there is currently a fence there electors from the North of Wrexham see the site as a future area of open space - of some sort.

The fight to prevent any move towards development included all local bodies including NE Wales football association.

It would be wise to work closely with local people in the period that the club have an agreement with WCBC. It might well be just a medium term solution to the training facility issue until the club find permanent home.

That's bollocks the locals living around the 9 acre were only interested in stopping development of the site. It's a fenced off private field and claiming over to do anything is trespassing. Across the road is Prices Lane park and Acton Park and Herbert Jennings are minutes away. There is no reason for kids to be on our land without a permit from the club which I wouldn't give looking at the mess they leave elsewhere.

Some small signs at a low level do not require planning.
Whilst we should not "bollock" the kids, the groundstaff should engage and advise that the area is for the football club to train and should request that the kids play elsewhere. It's also a good idea to make sure the site is secure.
