But Keates is hoping to announce more signings before new-look Wrexham, with coach Carl Darlington also back on board after joining from The New Saints, start pre-season in nine days time.
“I would like to think that there are definitely going to be one or two more in place before we report back on the Friday*,” said Keates.

*Next Friday 23rd June.

You would expect our key players to be in place by the start of pre season, with a couple of squad players, trialists maybe, to be added by the start of the season

Was hoping for a signing today. Ah well will have to wait until next week now before going into panic mode, hate to have to sit through a season like last season having to be very lucky to see a goal scored.

It isn't always that straight forward. Strikers in particular will weigh up their options as there's no doubt they will have a lot of offers on the table if they're any good. He's done well to sign a lot of key players early on.

Plus FL contracts don't expire until next week. Loads of time yet.

They will be weighing up options, but they wont still be doing that when pre season is under way. They will be doing that up to the start of pre season.
