Not sure where the Connor Jennings potential return has surfaced ?

He's still got a year to go on his Tranmere two year contract and after initially being out through injury / going out on loan he was a steady regular for Rovers in the latter part of the season scoring their goal in the Play Off defeat at Wembley.

Do TRFC want to offload him ? maybe a personal appeal to play alongside his brother but there again might not be the best prospect for either of the Jennings brothers.

Cooke is in the same situation but things might be different in his case - seems out of favour with Micky Mellon but now Stockton has left for Scotland could find himself in favour again.

Akinfenwa was released by Wycombe Wanderers end of the season just finished - he is free and seeking a new club (previous to that was at Wimbledon). He hasn't got the physique to run marathons but an absolute powerhouse built to cause mayhem over a short period - if we could get him on board for 12 months he could be the new Jon Paskin - vital goals and contributions. (but perhaps not for 90 minutes every week) - short bursts of class similar to Glenn Little.

100% this. One of my earliest memories as a child going to the match with my dad was a towering Parkin header into the top corner and the crowd going nuts.
