Pay £50, get 20% voucher for club shop, £100, get a signed Wxm shirt, £150 upgrade to Bamfords, etc., which by looking at incentives linked to spending, will generate a fair bit over the years.
I know that it's great people donate £12 a year and for some that's all they can afford, so hats off to them, but there are loads in the middle who just give the minimum, because we make it the easiest and primary option.

There is nothing wrong with the £12 (£15) membership as you need to take into account some of those 'primary' members also buy into other products and make donations in other ways. Graded membership has been considered before but it was considered complicated and not seen as desirable.
Its no good slating none members either as they are very much part of a customer base that the club wants to encourage. Not everyone wishes to join organisations.

We have some great fans, but Wxm & N Wales is still a sleepy hollow compared to other areas of the country. Yes we have PL clubs 40 miles up the road but that is still better than other lower league teams and we have a huge catchment area as a professional club and we need to tap into that potential.

I think the £1 a month mnimum subscripton is is critical to enticing new members and the many who sign up just for ST savings. Others who like to pay a bit more don't do it for incentives, we do it because if it is done collectively it means our club and ultimately the success on the pitch will improve. A general increase in membership is required to make the club stronger and the knock-on effects of all the other club income streams including the most important through the turnstiles.

We did really well with BtB, but now it seems to have peaked we need need to turn our efforts to growing membership ( a longer term, more sustainable way of growing our club). Let's not knock initiatives, like Stoke tickets or "ONE TEAM", but actively get behind them.

I know it is easy to throw ideas at the club and more difficult to carry out the work, but I would like everyone entering the ground for the first game of the season be given a Club Membership/Standing Order form.

If the form also had sign up a friend/family member section, then they can still be used by existing members. As a thank you, maybe for example, the names on the form can be read out on a match day, new members and anyone who has recruited a new member.

BTB was initially a short term initiative and its sole purpose was to give Dean some funds to bring in some better players or maybe even pay a transfer fee for someone.
£52,750 is the latest total

I have said for many years that the membership side of things has been neglected and needs to be improved. There needs to be more communication with the fans - not just members but the non-members and those that have let their club membership lapse.

Membership numbers have dropped and the accounts seem to show 2 different figures. 2676 and 3111 - which one is correct?

It does mention in the accounts that there will be a focus on increasing membership. I'd like to see us set a target of, say, 10,000 members across north Wales and then work out how we can get there.

2,676 is adult members only. 3,111 is the number including junior dragons. The lower number is shown in the accounts because only adults are eligible to vote

This sort of figure can only be achieved by someone focussing on it part or full time and to improve the sign up process so that it's seamless. The problem with volunteers is that it's such a big task to undertake that they can put stuff off till next week or whenever, there is no 'real pressure' like there would be in a job.

In order to get 10,000 members (or even half that) the site's sign up process needs to be made as easy as possible. For example is has a form you fill out and automatically sends a SO to your bank if you choose to or you may pay for full membership by debit or credit card. Thats it no messing. Then as soon as the page is submitted the user gets an email with the confirmation details and an electronic version of their membership card. The whole process needs to be as automated as possible this would cut down on 'memebership admin' and time could be spent better elsewhere.

Agree. I think there is lots that can be done to make it easier to sign up and to encourage more to do so.
