Apart from the legend Tommy Bamford, who are your all time favourites? I'll start with Don Weston Ian Moir Bobby Shinton and Mickey Thomas

Re: All our yesterdays- great ex players
A real wild card entry but i just loved Emad Bounanne. He always used to give me a wave in a battered old car, and he was a bit mad, but he gave it a go, and some of his runs were just magical!
Carlos Edwards was by far the most skilful and classy player in my era. |
Re: All our yesterdays- great ex players
Peter Ward was a brilliant player.
You can't beat Ferguson though, he ran the team for almost a decade. Posted via mobile theme |

Carlos Edwards - Was a class above, and his move up the leagues paid testament to that.
Lee Trundle - Goals Andy Morrell - Goals Juan Ugarte - Loved to score bagfuls away from home. Hector Sam - For some weird reason he was my favourite player, used to love the basic song aswell.... Hector Sam, Sam, Sam. Denis Lawrence - Rock at the back and was quite handy in the opposit penalty box. Plenty of others could be mentioned. I think the one thing we can all agree on is if they had all been at Wrexham at the same time we would have breezed the Leagues. |
