From my understanding, this was the upper section of the two plots that were originally for sale.
I was told by McDonalds some time ago that they were outbid by an original buyer who bought the two plots from Wrexham Village, but McDonalds retained a discussion with the owners and it would seem that they then subsequently bought the second (upper plot) from the new owners. Later, rumours persisted that the two plots had not been sold, but McDonalds had told me that they had.

Makes sense - To my knowledge they have already submitted plans and ,generally, they do not hang about.

Have just checked Land Registry and there has been no new registration of the Dickens section of the land.
Interestingly this was purchased in 2009 for £1.8 million.by WV.

A plan would help. If a feasibility study was commissioned which looked at such issues as the cost of clearing the kop, legal issues with the Uni (i.e. can the club do what they want or do they need the freeholder's consent, future plans etc).

Depending on the scope of the report, it could cost £20k plus in professional fees but it's something to give to the Welsh Government to showing willing on the club's behalf. It could also be given to potential investors/developers/anchor stores/budget hoteliers/ fast food restaurants etc.

Yes that was a nice little earner for Knock Down Nev!

There is a resolution proposed for the WST AGM to:-
Resolution D
Summary: To revoke the appointment of Neville Dickens as a Vice President of Wrexham AFC.

This needs a two thirds majority to happen so make sure you vote!
