Gary Bennett scored 15 in 80 games for jester prior to signing for us .. then scored 77 in 121 for us ... just saying ...

That must be his league goals tally because he scored over 100 all told in 3 seasons.

He's got an excellent record at this level. And I think most tellingly is Macclesfield supporters comments, they all talk about him in glowing terms. Only 27 as well. This signing is right up there with Pearson and Wedgebury for me

He also played with Mackreth the season he got over 20. We need another forward to play alongside him but Keates is keeping the calibre of signings high with this one.

Just remember he hasn't signed yet! Keates has surprised us in the past with his signings, so until he puts pen to paper its all still rumour!
