I don't know why some people are looking at Scott bodens goal history and saying he can't score more than 20 goals for us this coming season. I feel when he was at Macclesfield he was their main goal threats he had McGreth playing alongside them and Holroyd so they all know each other very well. The one good thing about Macclesfield Town during the time all three of them played for them was how good they were going forward. We have also signed a quality centre half from Grimsby a left back from Forest Green and obviously Manny Smith who you'll know has quality at centre half full. We have signed midfielders also from Forest Green and an exciting right back who can fill in at midfield he looks strong and our manager spotted him last season. This season for me anyway looks like it could be our year. Scott Boden and Holroyd will score goals and create chances. I would rather have these two playing upfront for us than any one we had last season. Keates also must like the trailist to bring him back after seeing him chain with his last season I am looking forward to see him play in our friendlies and wouldn't be surprised if he made an impact straight away and when a contract here. From Keates comments in the newspaper reports he seems like he was leading the line in the 4 mile run which suggests to me he is quick and which could give us something different up top. If it is Boden that signs I think he will score the goals we need to make the playoffs this season because he will be leading the line in a very good team.
