Not wishing to add fuel to the fake news fire, but I heard the team we're negotiating with is Shrewsbury. I don't really know much about their team so couldn't speculate on names.

Surely if the player is terminating his contract with a club then we are not negotiating with anyone on this.

Dean's comments about the new striker.

“It is as good as it can be and he will be with us on Monday,” said Keates.

Shrewsbury is 30 miles from Wrexham. The new striker would not have to relocate his family to a new area!

I'd be disappointed if Keates was only targeting one player.

We still have a squad that needs filling, so I'm sure there are plenty of irons in the fire, for multiple positions.
