I like rhead because the ball sticks, he is good at laying it off and pushes opposition defenders around. Although I think the standard has improved dramatically in the conference over the last decade, the ball will still be in air quite a bit.

On the subject of hoofball, if that earned us a single point more than playing total football I would prefer it.

Does anyone know where Kelly usually plays? I've got it in my head he will be pulling the strings in the middle with his beautiful left peg.
He excites you because he is a proper experienced centre forward who is not past it.

So rhead isn't available but that type is needed in our squad!
We definitely need a big centre forward, even if its someone on the bench.

However I wedgbury and Hurst we do have extra height in other positions

From what I hear I think we've found one, Big Jimmy.

Almond is really a Southport player even though he was on Tranmeres books for a while.

A strong line up is now starting to come together ..

Dunn

Carrington
Smith
Pearson
Jennings

Wedgbury
Kelly
New midfielder

Mackreth
Boden
New forward

Subs-
Dibble
Holroyd
Hurst
Marx
New attacker

Smith, Rutherford, new midfielder if budget can stretch

If we can sign players like:
Sinclair
Jennings
Morgan-Smith
A.Mendy

We'd definitely atleast make the play offs.

I think you need to take Hurst and Holroyd off the bench and into the starting XI there chief.

If the season started on Monday then I'd agree , but I think Keates will sign better than them for the starting line up. But both will still be important.

100% Boden. Expect Rob Sinclair next week too.
